In the city of Baeza, where he was a professor, the poet Antonio Machado, your Excellency. City Council convened under the patronage of the Provincial Council and the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía, the International Poetry Prize, which may participate who adhere to the following

BASES

1 .- should submit their works written in Castilian. Works must be unpublished y no premiadas en otros certámenes o concursos, ni parcialmente publicadas en libro, revista u otro soporte o medio. Esta premisa estará vigente hasta el momento del fallo, quedando obligados quienes participen a comunicar a la organización cualquier cambio o circunstancia que se haya producido con respecto a la obra presentada. En todo caso, una obra que haya resultado previamente premiada en otros concursos o premios, quedará automáticamente descalificada.

2ª.-Las obras serán en verso, de tema libre y con la extensión habitual en los libros de poesía, (de 500 a 700 versos o líneas) impresas o mecanografiadas en formato DIN A-4 a doble espacio y por una sola cara, debidamente sewn or stapled.

3 .- The originals will be submitted in quadruplicate, under a pseudonym or motto, unsigned. Be included in a sealed envelope attached data of the author, a brief bio-bibliographical, address, telephone and photocopy of identity document (ID card or passport) outside the envelope must bear the title or slogan of the work presented.

4 .- The call will be open from February 22 (the anniversary of the poet's death) until the day May 31, 2011, the original may be delivered personally or send them through courier or registered mail to the following address: Department of Culture, Hon. Ayuntamiento de Baeza, Calle Alhambra Cipriano, 18. 23440 Baeza (Jaén), clearly indicating on the envelope for the XV International Poetry Prize "Antonio Machado in Baeza. (Excluding those papers submitted at a later date, considered as a valid postmark)

5 .- The jury will consist of five persons of recognized standing in the field of literature, and a secretary, with voice but without vote. The composition of the jury will be made public at the time of award of the prize.

6 .- The jury will act with complete freedom and discretion, and shall also have the normal ability to deliver and failure to discern the award, or unsuccessful, to interpret the Rules. Its decisions are final.

7 .- The award, which may not be shared, will be equipped with:

• Six thousand euros (6,000.00 euros), contributed by the Diputación Provincial de Jaén (4250.00 Euros) and the Hon. City of Baeza (1750.00 Euros). These amounts will apply current tax deductions.

• The publication of the winning book in the Hyperion Publishing (sponsored by the Hon. Ayuntamiento de Baeza and the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía).

• A bronze trophy (donated by the School of Arts Becerra Gaspar de Baeza), the work of Professor Antonio Perez Almahano.

• The delivery of fifty copies of the book published. It is understood that the prize money is up to the copyright in the first edition.

8 .- The non-winning original will be destroyed once the award, thus preserving the anonymity of their authors.

9 .- The ruling was made public in September 2011, being communicated to the author personally by the President of the Jury. The delivery of the XV International Poetry Prize and the presentation of the winning book will be held in November 2011. The attendance of the person awarded, the prize-giving ceremony will be an essential requirement for receiving it.

10 .- The fact attend this award means who were present accepted all these bases.
