ABP, Pozo

The PBL methodology comprises several elements: communication, negotiation, common interests, motivation, activity by all members of the group. It also seeks to solve a problem common to the whole group and the teacher's role is to guide the facilitator in a process of discovery by the group.

PBL involves the ability to work from interdisciplinary areas because a problem may involve different elements and variety of areas.

Throughout the process, the idea is not to lose sight of the problem, to cover and try to solve the problem that brings us together. ABP

Steps 1. Location and problem of common interest
2. Problem analysis and clarification of terminology
3. Identification key factors or elements in the problem
4. Research
5. First pooling in PEL resolution
6. Hypothesis generation
5. Identifying gaps in knowledge, research
6. Second sharing and problem solving

PBL and collaborative learning

PBL is possible to work through small group collaborative work

"Collaborative learning in working groups for solving problems is consistent with social constructivism theory. This theory provides learning mediated through language, knowledge as a social construction, problem solving as a process that is not something within the individual but is based in social practice. "(Well, problem solving) work

Assessment The final work performance should be evaluated rather than the product, process, some of the items to evaluate are:

- was understood or not the objective of the work?
- There was a commitment to the development of tasks and final development of the project by groups and individual students?
- heard all group members?
- were responsible in their work each and every member of the group?
- Resolved conflicts and frictions within the group?
